Details: The Alexandria Police Department, FBI, and multiple other police jurisdictions continue to work on the bank robbery that happened at the Glenwood State Bank in Alexandria and multiple other bank robberies. The Alexandria Police Department and the FBI believe it is highly likely that the “Man in Black” bank robber is connected to the Glenwood State Bank robbery. The Alexandria Police Department, FBI, and other jurisdictions are continuing the investigation.

Details: The Alexandria Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at Glenwood State Bank in Alexandria MN at approximately 5:30 PM on 12-29-11. The unknown suspect entered the bank and walked straight to the front teller in the lobby. He was wearing a green zip up waist length jacket. He had a bright multi colored stocking hat over the top of what appears to be a solid dark colored ski mask, light blue denim jeans and dark colored gloves. He demanded money while brandishing what witnesses described as a small hand gun. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank. He is described as possibly a white male, less than 6 feet in height. The Alexandria Police Department and the FBI are currently investigating this case. The Alexandria Police Department is encouraging anyone with information or thinks they may have seen something to contact the Alexandria Police Department at 320-763-6631. (See photos below)
